When we need to draw a chart, imagine there are two Excel workbooks. In one, youve fetched data using GraphQL. It consists of one or more pages of worksheets, each containing data specific to a protocol, such as Uniswap or Aave. You just have data specific to that protocol. While this operational process is simple and may satisfy the needs of some business cases, it is very limited in its capabilities.
Now you can imagine a second Excel workbook that contains a sheet that extracts data using the Covalent API. This table includes all the information and data that have occurred in the public blockchain, so the information of these data is more extensive. This feature allows individual users to analyze the entire blockchain and do so by referencing worksheets containing specific or multiple protocols. In this case, only personal imagination limits the possibilities of analytical techniques, and all operations will become possible.
