Gitcoin is a donation platform for open source software. Users can support various decentralized open source projects through Gitcoin. Early projects can also receive donations on Gitcoin to maintain operations.
Some well-known projects such as Uniswap, 1inch, MaskNetwork, ENS, etc. have participated in Gitcoin Grants, so Gitcoin is also called the Arsenal of Ethereum.
In each round of Gitcoin Grants, in addition to receiving donations from users, Gitcoin will also use the Quadratic Funding model to allocate funds from the Ethereum Foundation to high-quality projects. 1.Gitcoin Grants 19 This is the 19th round of Gitcoin donation series. Since 2023, Gitcoin has tested a new donation matching method, Grants Stack, through Alpha Round and Beta Round, transferring past centralized donations to a donation method initiated, voted, and managed by the community, helping communities that apply for donations build a good chain. reputation, while allocating funds to projects that are more popular with users.

02 Gitcoin Grants 19 Donation Suggestions
Based on past rounds of donations, Biteye has summarized the following donation suggestions:
1. Although Gitcoin has no limit on donation amount, the minimum amount of each project is at least greater than 1 U. On the other hand, due to the price fluctuation of ETH, you can choose DAI to donate; if you use eth to donate, considering the price fluctuation, it is recommended to donate 0.001 eth or above;(Note: Some project parties only use donation as the criterion for airdrops, while some projects use the donation amount as the weight)
2. Gitcoin donation is a good on-chain interaction behavior. Optimism and Celestia once considered users making Gitcoin donations on the main network as one of the weights of airdrops. Donation is also a low-cost method to increase Passport scores;
3. Use MiniBridge to donate funds across the PGN chain, which can minimize network fees and interact with the PGN chain recommended by the official;
4. Donation should not be too late. It is easy to encounter network congestion when donating in the last few days, resulting in missing the donation time;
5. Verify your passport to a score of 15 or above before making a donation. The 15-25 range will receive higher weight as the score increases;
6. It is recommended that multi-account users pay attention to the diversity of donations when donating, and can adopt a 2+1 donation method, that is, 2 target projects plus 1 random project.

Web3 OSS grants are primarily targeted at open source projects that are developing on or advancing the broader Ethereum and Web3 industries. Open source software is mostly based on concepts such as Web3, DeFi, and NFT. Projects in these tracks have also had precedents of airdrops to donors in the past.
Mini Bridge is a 0 fee cross-chain tool that has the advantages of supporting multiple chains and fast confirmation. It was developed by the Chaineye team for users small-amount transfer scenarios. Chaineye is the winning project of the 2023 Shanghai Ethereum Conference and has received financial support from Gitcoin, Optimism and Arbitrum.

2.Umbra
As a protocol, Umbra defines a simple set of standards to enable private transfers on Ethereum through smart contracts. Umbra currently supports mainnet and multiple L2s, and will use funds to continue deploying to multiple chains.

Hey.xyz (formerly Lenster) is a decentralized, permissionless social media application. JediSwap is a DEX built on StarkNet - a Validity Rollup on Ethereum that enables unlimited scalability to web3 while relying on the security of Ethereum. JediSwap is a completely community-driven project, and anyone can start contributing to JediSwap by joining the JediSwap Discord.
A one-stop deauthorization platform, users can use Revoke to cancel token authorization as soon as possible after receiving an attack report.
The dm 3 protocol is a lightweight information transfer protocol based on Web3 technology, focusing on secure end-to-end encryption, decentralization, scalability and interoperability. The dm 3 registry is based on ENS, that is, the dm 3 configuration file is added to the ENS name as a text record.
7.OmniBTC
OmniBTC is a decentralized cross-chain exchange and lending platform designed to connect and unify all on-chain liquidity. It supports more than 17 chains and 20+ DEX, allowing users to cross any token on any chain with one click.

L2 BEAT is an analysis and research platform dedicated to Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) scaling solutions, with the goal of comprehensively comparing various Ethereum L2 systems and providing educational services to the community with objective insights.
EthStaker is the link between infrastructure creators and users, providing guidance and technical support for ETHs infrastructure. It is committed to supporting Ethereum users to securely stake their ETH by creating guides, instructional videos, educational content, and technical support.
The community has currently set up validators, testnet faucets for various testnets, and planned devconnect events.
Reason for recommendation: Ethereum staking is one of the general directions of the future of blockchain, and the related infrastructure and educational community are worthy of attention.
