星球日报讯 以太坊联合创始人Vitalik Buterin（V神）表示，像Tether（USDT）和Circle USD（USDC）这样的中心化稳定币可能会成为“未来有争议的硬分叉的重要决定因素”。
8月3日，V神在首尔举行的BUIDL亚洲会议上与Near Protocol（NEAR）的联合创始人Illia Polosukhin一起讨论了以太坊即将到来的合并。
V神认为，中心化稳定币可能是行业在硬分叉中“尊重”哪一种区块链协议的“重要”决定因素：“在合并的那一刻，你将有两个（独立的）网络……然后你有交易所，你有预言机提供商，你有稳定币提供商，它们在某种程度上决定他们尊重哪一个（网络）。”
V神解释说：“因为到那时，一条链上会有1000亿枚USDT，另一条链上也会有1000亿枚USDT，所以，他们（Tether）需要停止对其中一条的尊重。”
然而，V神也表示，他“没有看到任何迹象”表明这样的争夺会成为以太坊即将到来的合并中的一个问题，并指出中心化稳定币问题是未来硬分叉一个更令人担忧的因素：“我认为在未来，这肯定会成为一个更令人担忧的问题。基本上，USDC决定将哪条链考虑为以太坊，这一事实可能成为未来有争议的硬分叉的重要决定因素。”
