Ellie 在活动中提到了“预确认”（pre-confirmation）这一概念，并强调如今已到了讨论这一概念的时候。Ellie 表示，“预确认”是一项正在成型的服务，它可能会对不同的排序器、Rollup 协议等产生重大影响。在当前阶段，“预确认”可能只是从中心化排序器所获得的一项承诺（承诺某笔交易会被该排序器提交至 Layer1），但从长线来看，需要对“预确认”做一个更清晰的定义。
Ellie 就此给出的定义是，预确认是一项带有经济保障的承诺，保证数据将在 Layer1 上最终确认，且满足用户所设定的条件。
