WOO and Merlin have reached a strategic cooperation and will jointly support the ecological rune and inscription exchange Bitgenie
Odaily News According to official news, WOO announced a strategic partnership with Merlin Chain to jointly promote the adoption of BTC L2 and dominate the rapidly emerging Bitcoin DeFi market. Ben Yorke, Vice President of WOO Ecology, also announced that BitGenie is a pilot project under the WOO Innovation Center-a comprehensive DEX platform that provides one-stop services for Bitcoin native assets such as inscriptions and runes. Jeff Yin, founder of Merlin Chain, said: "We are proud to announce our partnership with WOO, which is consistent with Merlin Chain and WOO's core DNA of promoting transparency and community participation. Together, we are committed to promoting the adoption of BTC's second layer and occupying market share in the BTCFi industry." Yorke said: "We are proud to jointly support BitGenie, the first DEX for runes and Ordinals on BTC L2, providing seamless exchange and liquidity provision, and incentivizing early users. More importantly, BitGenie will actively list other Merlin assets to expand the platform's product range and increase awareness of BTC Layer2 activities."
