Odaily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X that Bitcoin Suisse has informed its Zug employees that it may cut up to 60 Swiss positions after consultations conclude on September 20. The company was founded in 2013, has approximately 200 employees globally, and custodies over $3 billion in assets.
Back-office and software roles will be relocated to its existing Bratislava hub and a newly established location in Vietnam. Majcen stated that the move aims to leverage lower local costs to support international expansion, rather than being a response to market conditions; the first round of layoffs is expected to take place before the end of the year.
