WLFI governance participation incentive program proposal passes vote, planned to launch before October 1
Odaily News: According to the Snapshot page, the World Liberty Financial community's proposal to "launch the WLFI governance participation incentive program" has passed the vote, with 82.13% in favor, 9.17% against, and 8.70% abstaining. A total of 2,306 addresses participated, with total voting volume of approximately 2.114 billion WLFI, exceeding the legal threshold of 1 billion.
According to the proposal, holders of unlocked WLFI need to lock their tokens for at least 180 days and directly participate in governance voting at least once every 90 days to receive dynamically calculated rewards. Delegated votes do not count toward the participation requirement. The program is planned to launch before October 1 and will replace the original ecosystem proposal passed on March 12.
