Robinhood CEO: SEC Issues No-Action Letter to Tesla, Paving the Way for Retail Shareholder Voting Plan
Odaily News: Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev posted on X that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today issued a no-action letter to Tesla, clearing the way for its shareholder voting plan aimed at empowering retail investors. He stated that when millions of people hold shares in a public company, shareholders should be able to participate in voting more easily. Robinhood currently helps multiple companies engage directly with shareholders through in-app messaging, retail voting plans, and earnings Q&A, and said more related features will be launched in the future.
