Odaily News Swiss blockchain analysis company Global Ledger said that a large amount of off-chain and on-chain data showed that the sanctioned Russian cryptocurrency exchange Garantex may have been renamed Grinex. Odaily News Peregrine Exploration, the company behind the stablecoin protocol Level, announced the completion of a new round of financing of $2.6 million, led by Dragonfly Capital, with participation from Polychain, Flowdesk, Echo, Native Crypto and Festy Collective by Path, as well as angel investors Sam Kazemian of Frax and Albert Chon of Injective. Odaily News Neo announced that it has partnered with IOSG Kickstarter, Web3Labs, Foresight Ventures, and Bitget to launch the Neo X Grind hackathon. The hackathon will be held on Neo's EVM-compatible sidechain Neo X, offering a $70,000 prize pool. Winning projects will have the opportunity to participate in multiple incubation programs, receive $22 million in funding and investment, and fast track access to exchanges. The Neo X Grind hackathon includes tracks such as artificial intelligence (AI), decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN), infrastructure, decentralized finance (DeFi), SocialFi, real world assets (RWA), games, and meme-related infrastructure. It started on October 30 and will last until December 2. All participating projects must deploy smart contracts on the Neo X mainnet before the deadline. After that, there will be a two-week review and community voting. The list of winners will be announced on December 16.

Odaily News LayerZero Labs CEO Bryan Pellegrino said at Korea Blockchain Week that a combination of aggressive Sybil hunting and prioritizing developers and long-term users helped keep the price of LayerZero's native token ZRO stable after the airdrop. Pellegrino said LayerZero did a lot of "very unique" things with the airdrop, including a "big witch hunt" to prevent bots and overfarming to get its native ZRO (ZRO) token into the hands of the network's most loyal users.
