Pineapple Financial Migrates Over $10 Billion in Historical Loans to Injective, With Over $1 Billion in Mortgage Records Already On-Chain
Odaily News: Mortgage lender Pineapple Financial has migrated over $1 billion in residential mortgage records to Injective, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on financial applications. The company plans to eventually migrate more than 29,000 issued mortgages totaling over $10 billion on-chain, with each loan corresponding to an on-chain record, without repackaging them into new mortgage-backed securities. These records contain more than 500 data points, including loan-level information, used to support verification, audit trails, and risk analysis. According to Pineapple Financial's dashboard, the current migration count stands at 2,079 records, up from 1,259 when the project launched in December 2025; the PAPL0 asset has a market value of approximately $1.1 billion, with tokens representing mortgage records rather than ownership of the underlying loans.Pineapple Financial's partnership with Injective also includes a $100 million Injective (INJ) digital asset treasury. Injective: No On-Chain Attack; INJ and User Funds Remained Safe Throughout the Upgrade
Odaily News - Injective officially stated that an accelerated network upgrade yesterday took longer than expected, but throughout the entire process, the Injective blockchain and INJ assets remained secure. The protocol and consensus mechanism were not compromised, and user and staked funds were unaffected. The upgrade originated from the exploitation of binary options markets in a small number of ecosystem applications. The scope of the attack was limited to the relevant applications and did not touch the Injective chain itself. During the upgrade, some validators were temporarily suspended from validating for not completing the upgrade in time, causing a temporary decline in network staking. Some exchanges also paused deposits and withdrawals to update their nodes.Injective stated that the relevant attack vectors have been fixed, and stricter constraints, real-time monitoring, and security protection mechanisms will be introduced moving forward.
约490万美元被盗,Injective疑似因二元期权漏洞暂停约4小时
Odaily News, According to monitoring by Paddy-earthling, Injective was reportedly paused for approximately 4 hours due to a binary options vulnerability. The attacker exploited a decommissioned but still-registered oracle Frontrunner to steal approximately $4.9 million. The data source for this oracle had long been cleared. The attacker created 299 markets and pointed them to this oracle. When price feeds became unavailable, it triggered a "no-price refund" mechanism, which the attacker then exploited to receive approximately 2x payouts, converting the USDC into roughly 1,980 ETH, worth about $4.9 million. The stolen assets currently reside in an Ethereum wallet that has never sent any transactions. Paddy-earthling noted that after the attack, Injective's official account continued posting marketing content without mentioning the chain had been paused.

POSCO International generates $22.2 billion in annual revenue, spanning steel, energy, and battery materials, and operates over 80 overseas branches.
Injective Institutional Services Obtains SEC Transfer Agent Registration, Becoming the First Layer 1 Blockchain with This Status
Odaily News: Injective, a Layer 1 blockchain, has had its institutional services division register as a securities transfer agent with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Injective states that this marks the first time a Layer 1 blockchain has obtained this type of registration, enabling regulated ownership records, transfers, distributions, and shareholder management services for securities. The registration covers four types of tokenized assets already launched—institutional funds, publicly listed company stocks, private company shares, and corporate accounts receivable—and allows related processes to utilize distributed ledger infrastructure while remaining compliant with U.S. securities regulatory rules.Injective has launched markets tied to digital asset treasury companies, publicly listed stocks, and shares of private companies such as SpaceX and OpenAI, and has introduced its tokenized asset issuance platform, Injective Mint Alpha. In July, South Korea's largest trading firm, POSCO International, and LG CNS, a technology company under the LG Group, selected Injective for a trade finance pilot. The plan involves tokenizing accounts receivable arising from international trade and completing their transfer, management, and settlement. (Bitcoin.com News)
