On August 25, YZi Labs officially announced the selected projects for Season 4 of the EASY Residency program. As its flagship incubation program for early-stage founders in Web3, AI, and biotech, a total of 24 early-stage companies were selected this season, each receiving a $500,000 investment.
YZi Labs stated that the Season 4 cohort reflects its judgment on the direction of global payments, on-chain markets, and "agentic finance": more programmable, more localized, more compliance-focused, and truly embedded in daily financial processes.
Below, Odaily Planet Daily has selected 9 projects from the 24 selected projects this season that currently have clear entry points for participation, in anticipation of potential airdrops (projects are ordered from highest to lowest number of currently available interactive tasks).

Primus is a cryptographic infrastructure project for institutional-grade on-chain financial scenarios, focusing on solving data privacy, authenticity verification, and compliance issues in public chain environments. Its core technologies include zkTLS and zkFHE: the former verifies the authenticity of off-chain external data such as web pages and exchanges, while the latter supports financial operations like transfers and interest accrual in an encrypted state.
On February 21, 2025, Primus announced the completion of a $6.5 million Pre-seed + Seed funding round, with investors including VanEck, Dispersion, Symbolic, and others.

Roostoo: Early Whitelist Applications Open

Roostoo is a training and screening platform for AI trading agents, originally developed from cryptocurrency simulated trading scenarios at universities. Through real-time market data and competition mechanisms, the platform allows human traders and AI Agents to test strategies in the same environment, continuously screening for better-performing models.
Currently, Roostoo is building a reinforcement learning Agent factory, training quantitative models covering crypto perpetuals, equities, commodities, and forex markets. Outstanding agents validated in live trading environments can be further deployed to DEXs, on-chain vaults, and other scenarios in the future, becoming part of automated trading and asset management strategies.

Based on this, XHunt helps projects screen more suitable KOLs and improve marketing efficiency, while also helping creators quantify their influence and gain commercial opportunities.

Nara: Points System Not Yet Launched; Can Wait for the PayFi Product Launching in September

Nara is a PayFi digital dollar protocol for stablecoin payment scenarios, with the core goal of providing payment companies with 24/7, on-demand short-term liquidity support. For the ultra-short-term fund advance needs common in cross-border payments, settlements, and other operations, Nara aims to transform them into programmable on-chain credit services, improving capital turnover efficiency.
At the same time, Nara aggregates the financing premiums paid by payment companies into NaraUSD, providing on-chain users with dollar-denominated yield-bearing assets.

Liquorice is an on-chain protocol providing liquidity for professional market makers, primarily solving the problem of large amounts of capital being locked up in advance during market-making. In certain on-chain transactions, multiple market makers compete to provide quotes to users. In the traditional model, substantial assets need to be prepared in advance across different wallets. Liquorice allows market makers to borrow the required assets instantly from a shared liquidity pool only after successfully winning an order and needing to settle, thereby improving capital efficiency.
