Hackathon Overview
The official hackathon of the University of Ottawa , uOttaHack 7 , was successfully concluded with the enthusiastic support of 286 participants who submitted 138 projects. The judging criteria of this competition focused on innovation, technical complexity, practicality and display effect, ensuring that the participating projects provide unique and creative solutions to real-world problems. The event encourages students from different backgrounds and skill levels to collaborate and develop, and is committed to creating influential technical achievements, becoming a bridge between technical ideals and practical implementation.
The competition places special emphasis on learning exchanges and building social networks, providing a platform for equal dialogue and collaborative innovation for programming novices and experienced developers, and deeply practicing the University of Ottawas mission to promote innovative cooperation in the field of science and technology. The outstanding projects that emerged on the scene fully demonstrated the creativity and technical skills of the participants, not only accumulating practical experience for personal growth, but also laying the seeds of innovation for future technological breakthroughs.
