Conflux Research Institute: Introduction to "Conflux Protocol Specification" (Yellow Paper)
The Conflux network has extremely high performance and scalability, and can achieve a high throughput of 3000+ TPS without sacrificing any degree of decentralization. The main advantages of the Conflux network lie in the design of its novel consensus protocol, certified data storage and transaction forwarding protocol.
The Conflux network uses an original "Tree-graph" structure to organize blocks. Compared with traditional consensus protocols, it can make full use of the contribution of forked blocks in the network to system security and throughput. Under the premise of ensuring security, the throughput rate and confirmation speed of the underlying consensus system are greatly improved.
The technical yellow paper "Conflux Protocol Specification" conflux-protocol.s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/tech-specification.pdf defines all the details and implementation specifications of the Conflux protocol design. It includes eleven chapters, namely: overview, term definition, basic components, consensus protocol, blockchain execution, transaction processing, storage mortgage, built-in contract, workload proof, incentive mechanism, and protocol parameters.

Chapter 1 Overview
Since the birth of Bitcoin, various blockchain systems have successfully demonstrated to us the great value of the publicity system. Ethereum, on the other hand, has expanded the concept of blockchain from a dedicated "value transfer system" to a more universal Turing-complete state machine.
But in fact, the low throughput rate of the underlying consensus mechanism has increasingly become the biggest bottleneck in the processing capacity of the entire blockchain system.
