Livetree completes initial integration with Moonbeam
Moonbeam announces integration with Livetree. Livetree is a video platform with web 3.0 decentralized architecture and video data protocol for crowdfunding, data copyright and video licensing. A video-based social network, Livestree is dedicated to crowdfunding video stories based on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Moonbeam, an Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform on Polkadot, provides a platform for developers to easily deploy Solidity contracts without making changes. The Livetree team has completed the first phase of integration on the Moonbase Alpha testnet and successfully deployed Livetree's existing Ethereum-based contracts to Moonbeam.
For the fully integrated part, Livetree will import all Ethereum-based crowdfunding and data governance smart contracts into Moonbeam and create a bridge from the Ethereum mainnet. This integration aims to address Ethereum’s restrictive gas prices, which prevent true on-chain governance, while facilitating a bridge to the Polkadot ecosystem. Once complete, users will be able to create videos through Livetree's new app and use the relevant video protocol data to generate rewards for those who crowdfund their important stories through Livetree's Video Protocol Data Token. Then, the resulting data token can be pledged and obtained in the Polkadot ecosystem in an open and secure manner through Moonbeam.
