The power of hackathons in promoting innovation and communication is obvious to all. By providing funding for it, Hackathon DAO hopes to bring together a group of passionate and technically capable developers, use strong technical capabilities and vision, inject new vitality into the open source developer community, and further promote open source technology innovation. The Hackathon DAO team hopes to:
● Developers themselves can propose and decide which problems really need to be solved.
● Developers can fully interact and inspire each other.
● Valuable technical contributions will receive financial and operational support.

How to Apply for Hackathon DAO's Hackathon Quarterly Grant
First, Hackathon DAO grants are prepared for hackathons and are open to everyone to apply.
Hackathon DAO's Grant will be conducted on a quarterly basis, and each quarter will last for 3 months. The schedule will be announced before the official start of each quarter. In short, the main steps will include: 1) Application; 2) Community voting; 3) Hacking; 4) Awarding bonuses; 5) Review review.
With these goals in mind, Hackathon DAO welcomes hackathon participation applications that meet the following criteria:
● Hackathon organizers are active GitHub repository maintainers.
● The hackathon must be directed at a clear, specific problem, not an aimless exploration.
● If the Grant will be used for purposes other than prize money, the hackathon application must provide a budget plan.
● The Hackathon must take place within the designated "Hacking" time window according to the schedule published at the beginning of each quarter.
● The organizer has passed the Hackathon DAO KYC and is not on the Hackathon DAO blacklist.
● This hackathon can only be organized on the HackerLink platform using its Bounty or dedicated Hackathon function.
● Hackathon DAO currently focuses on Web3, encryption technology and quantum computing. But we also welcome applications from hackathons in other fields.
Applicants need to submit a complete hackathon application proposal in the form of BUIDL on HackerLink. The next round of Grants for Hackathon DAO is about to start, please follow Twitter (@HackathonDAO) or join Discord (@DoraHacks Global) to get the latest information.
In each quarter, Hackathon DAO will prepare a separate prize pool for each technical field. After the application deadline, Hackathon DAO voting token holders will select the application proposals they want to support through quadratic voting.
After submitting the proposal, please pay close attention to Discord (@DoraHacks Global) and your mailbox to know the final application result. If your Grant application is approved, Hackathon DAO staff will keep in touch with you to carry out follow-up work.

This is one of the most important roles of Hackathon DAO. You will have the opportunity to participate in shaping the vision and mechanism of Hackathon DAO in the early stage.
You will have the opportunity to:
● Assist the Grant of Hackathon DAO, participate in the Hackathon application review, Hackathon result review, DAO product Q&A, etc.
● Organize project demo demonstrations, technical exchange meetings, lectures, and workshops with the latest and most cutting-edge technologies as the theme.
● Manage and build the Hackathon DAO community (on Discord).
● Participate in the formulation of Hackathon DAO's community rules and Hackathon DAO's DAO mechanism design.
● Maintain discussion boards for specific Hacking areas.
