Deribit and SignalPlus have jointly launched The Island trading competition, with a total prize pool of 600,000 USDC

Coinbase’s Deribit (through its broker-dealer DRB Panama Inc.) and SignalPlus, a provider of crypto derivatives software and infrastructure solutions, today jointly announced the launch of The Island——their fifth trading competition and the largest one to date.

The 35-day competition features a total prize pool of up to 600,000 USDC, encompassing individual and team contests, daily and weekly reward rounds, a Mystery Box deposit mechanism, short-term options challenges, and the Private Island grand prize.

Registration for The Island competition opens on June 29, 2026 at 08:00 (UTC), with the competition running from July 6, 2026 at 08:00 (UTC) to August 10, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC). Participants must trade on Deribit via SignalPlus. Rankings are based solely on eligible options and futures trading volume, with options weighted at 1.0 and futures at 0.5.

The event is structured around eleven core arenas, integrating weekly volume competitions, daily reward cycles, team participation, referral and invite mechanisms, block trade and large transaction incentives, and dynamic ecosystem progression. New features for this edition include the Mystery Box deposit experience, weekly P&L leaderboards, short-term options reward multipliers, and the Flash Arena——where higher short-term options volume unlocks greater grand prize opportunities and reward entitlements.
