On October 7, Gate founder and CEO Dr. Han officially announced the launch of Gate Money during a keynote speech at the TOKEN2049 conference. With "One Gate, Everything Money" as its core concept, Gate Money builds on the diversified financial service capabilities Gate has already established to create a globally integrated financial services application, connecting digital assets, fiat currencies, stocks, ETFs, gold, bank accounts, payments, and asset management services into a single account. It covers scenarios including asset holding, receiving funds, transfers, payments, conversions, and yield generation, extending Gate from digital asset trading services into the broader financial services sector. Currently, users can activate Gate Money with one click by updating the Gate App to version v8.39.0.
Multi-Asset, One-Stop Management
Gate Money allows users to hold multiple fiat currencies and digital assets under the same account system, with a centralized view of asset balances and fund activity across all holdings. The platform supports fiat deposits, withdrawals, as well as on-chain deposits and transfers. Fiat accounts can be managed independently by currency, and eligible users can upgrade to obtain a bank account in their own name, enabling them to use their personal account information for receiving funds and withdrawals, facilitating both daily and cross-border money transfers.

From online shopping to offline spending, users can choose the appropriate payment method based on their actual needs, making the assets in their accounts more readily usable for everyday consumption.

Convert supports flexible exchanges between different assets, while Earn provides wealth management and yield products.
